My Cacti Garden...

So I have been wanting some vegetation for my apartment lately but wanted something that didn't need too much care.... thus, I decided to go for some succulents! They are so cute!

Picture 1. I found a plethora of succulent options at Home Depot!

Picture 2. I bought my pots from Anthropologie!

Picture 3. Pick up some potting soil while searching for your succulents!

Picture 4. I also threw in some rosemary and aloe vera just to make it a little more useful!

I stumble upon this shot of Ashley Olsen from time to time, and every time I see it, I just love the look of her makeup.  It has that dewy, bronzed, summer glow to it.  Thus, I decided to attempt to recreate the look myself and this is what I came up with...

1. Diorskin Shimmer Star in Amber Diamond (This gives you the dewy glow. It's a highlighter but also gives you a hint of bronze.) 2. Diorshow Iconic Mascara (I love this mascara because it lasts all day and doesn't flake or smudge onto my under eyes.) 3. Lorac Blush and Bronzer Duo in Hot & Spicy (Contour with the bronzer and use the blush for rosy cheeks!) 4. Nars Lip Gloss in Orgasm (Top off the look with a peachy pink shimmer lip gloss!)

Now that it's officially Spring (even though it doesn't feel like it), it's time to break out the florals! Love this feminine and bold trend! 

Workin' Out in Style...

I thought I would be even more motivated to work out if I had super cute clothes to do it in, but didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on the trendy, expensive brands, so I decided to check out my local Target and found these bright, neon pieces above! (Even better, they were on sale!) I love the loose, light, tri-blend, vintage t-shirts from Old Navy and American Apparel for my work out top. P.S. Love my hot pink and black Nike's! 

Boutique Shopping....

I love boutique shopping in small towns outside of Memphis... You never know what you are going to find. A few weeks back, I went to the Pink Zinnia in Hernando, Mississippi for their Spring Open 

House. It is super cute! These were a few of the things I picked up... David Aubrey necklace and earrings and this tiny cute Voluspa candle.

I was perusing the runway photos from Mercedes Benz Fashion Week New York Fall 2013 and noticed a major trend in the fall collections was the color red. I associate red with a hot summer dress or holiday apparel so I thought incorporating this bright color into fall fashions was fresh and new!

Western Inspired Decor...

I have recently moved into a new apartment and am still in the process of decorating.  I have been collecting things here and there as I go.... I wait till something catches my eye!
